So I promised I would take pictures of the Christmas stockings that my great-grandmother cross-stitched for us. Here they are! I don't think the pictures do them any justice, so I guess you'll have to come by my place next Christmas-time to see them in person. :o)

Wow! Jen those are awesome. As a fan of crossstitching, I can say that those are truly works of art. You must be pretty special for her to do that for you. Those will last forever (unless you over stuff them). lol
Is the whole picture cross-stitched or just the names? They are beautiful. I tried cross stitching a couple of times, but I just don;t have the patience for it. I need more instant gratification.
The ENTIRE stocking is cross-stitched! The only part that doesn't have stitching, is the back of the stockings.
I actually love to cross-stitch while I watch, tv, etc. Lately I've been doing needlepoint, since it doesn't require as much concentration. :o)
They are amazing! What talent! I am jealous!

Those stockings are so detailed and so cute! I can't imagine how long it took your great-grand mother to stitch them. You guys must have been really good to deserve those. :)
