Zack has declared his independence. He no longer allows me to help him put his shoes on, or to "do them up". If I even get near him when he's trying to do his shoes he screams "I do it! Zack do it!" So I now leave him alone, and silently count to 10 while it takes him 5 minutes to get each shoe on! LOL Anyhow, this is a picture of how Zack likes to do the velcro straps on his Vans.

I love the criss cross!
Aaahhh, if only! Kaleb is now 5 and is always coming with his shoes BEGGING me to tie them :) Hooray for the cris-cross! Keep counting my friend :)
Jen,
I'm Rachael's cousin in California (Her dad and my mom are brother and sister). Thanks so much for your supportive and encouraging words! Sometimes I feel so helpless in this process and it's hard to just wait. Thanks for letting me know that there are others out there that have made it through. I have so many questions! My email is Jellybean@surewest.net if you are open to emailing me. Thanks again for reaching out. Your words really helped me today!
Very Sincerely,
Jenean
3 year old's! They definitely have minds of their own.
I can totally relate. Emma and Jake did the same thing. I can't wait for Brandon to start doing that. NOT!!
It is cool that he wants to be independent. My boys love to be waited on, so I am trying to inspire them to be more independent. Wish me luck! :)
love the shoes.
