Rainforest Cafe'

For Zack's birthday I thought it would be fun to take him to Rainforest Cafe'. He loves animals and such, so I figured it was a no-brainer!

So here we are when we got to Rainforest Cafe'...

I couldn't get him to leave his glasses on, but at least I got a smile out of him!

He seems happy, right?

Well...

As soon as the first rainstorm hit, and the animal noises started up, we had a terrified little birthday boy! He was literally quivering in Ben's arms and hiding his head as close to Ben as possible. AND he screamed out loud several times. Luckily the nearby diners found it cute, and not obnoxious or we might have been asked to exit 'the forest'. LOL

Oh well... at least Ben and I enjoyed our lunch! LOL

Zack had been asking for a brownie ALL day and we asked him if he wanted a big brownie and ice cream (A Volcano) and he kept saying no over and over again.

As soon as we told him we were leaving, he threw his arms up in the air (as if he were signaling a touchdown) and screamed "Yay! We're leaving!!!" He did that a few times. I think it will be a little while before we brave Rainforest Cafe' again.

At least the food was good! :o)
