Favorite Things

I'm going to back-track a little, and post a few things out of order. I need to download some more pictures for other posts, but for now I will just post the pictures I stole from Rachael's blog of our party. 

So a few months back Rachael came across a fun party idea on Pinterest. She told me about it and I checked it out and thought it sounded totally fun! It's a "Favorite Things" party. I knew we HAD to do it. I couldn't stop thinking about it. So we planned, and the party was ON! 

It pretty much goes like this. Each person who attends must bring 5 of the exact same item. (Their favorite item) You set a price point for the gifts and each person brings their favorite appetizer or dessert.

We had 20 in attendance, and 22 participate! And it was a BLAST!!! (See pictures below)

Here is the table with all the gifts on it. There was a great mix of items; face cream, watches, games, socks, aprons, Tres Leches cake, gift cards, lip balms, lotions, and polishes are just some of the fun items that were given. 

 Here are some of the goodies that people brought. It was a great mix of yumminess.

We've had several requests for this to become an annual event, and perhaps with a little persuasion (or bribe money) we might take it on again.  ;o)
