*WARNING* Do not proceed if you have a weak stomach or can't handle blood.
A couple months back T and I were on an outing to go to Babies R Us for a sale. They were not open when we got there, so we decided to go to Target instead. Bad idea. Target has really heavy METAL doors that don't mix so well with little baby feet. The door cut T's foot open almost to the bone. At first I thought just his toenail was smashed, but then I saw blood, and at removing his sandal he bent his toes and his foot opened up. I can say I panicked a bit! It was gross. You could see all the fatty tissue and it was just a clean cut across.
Here is T waiting in the ER.
The end result...
He was happy when they finally let him eat!
He couldn't stand or walk for 3 days after, so it wouldn't open back up.
Here's what it looked like after all the blood got cleaned up and he had numbing medication on it.
Luckily it is all healed now, although T is still a little traumatized and will show people his "ouchie".
