The SPT theme for the month of August is based on the Olympic Motto:Citius, Altius, Fortius(Faster, Higher, Stronger)
I'm focusing on "Faster" today.
Last week Zack and I went with Rachael, Alexis, and Eli to the Shark Reef. Zack loved seeing all the fish, and was super-excited about the sharks there.
Now here comes the "faster" part. When we got to the little touch pool I tried to get Zack to come over to touch a sting ray. He wouldn't come near the pool. So I went to go get him and he took off running as fast as I've ever seen him run in his life. He was screaming at the top of his lungs as if I were chasing him with a chainsaw...LOL He ran so fast that his flip-flops flew off one at a time and he didn't even stop or look back. He ran halfway back to the entrance. People were laughing all along the trail of where he had run past. It was pretty comical. A nice man collected Zack's shoes, and handed them to me on my way back towards the touch pool.
The oh-so-informative wand that tells you what you are looking at. Eli and Zack checking out the huge fish. Sittin' in the shark tunnel.
The embrace of terror. LOL This is when I had brought him back over to the touch pool. I did NOT make him touch the fish. He was terrified just to be over there.

The poor little boy. I don't blame him. I don't think I would want to touch a sting ray either. Very cute picture of you and Zach.

That looks like a great place!
I will admit I don't think I would want to "touch" anything in the pool either!

Poor little kid! You can tell from the picture that he really was scared. Too funny now that it's over though.
