So Zack has been attending pre-school for a while now, but I am just now getting around to posting the pictures of his very first day. (Slacker mommy, I know)
Here is right after we got out of the car. I told him to turn around so I could take a picture. He was so anxious he didn't want to stop, and as you can see, I couldn't get him to look dirrectly at the camera for any pictures, or smile for that matter! LOL
Here is Zack with his class. They have all the little kids hold on to a colored ring so they get in a line and walk to class without anyone wandering off.
The first few days I drove Zack, but now he takes the bus.
(Although it isn't the bus pictured here)
This is my last attempt to get him to smile for the camera...
She actually called me this last week to update me on how things were going, and she said that Zack is a joy to have in class, and that he is mild-mannered and does well with the other kids. We moms all love hearing that, right? :o)
He has also taken to singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star all over the house. I can already tell the speech therapy is doing wonders. (That is why he goes to the public school for pre-school. It's awesome that it just happens to be free!)
Every morning Zack is up by 7am, and he is pestering me until 8:40am when the bus shows up. He loves school THAT much, and he loves riding the bus, so he keeps asking me for the bus until it shows up.
I sure do enjoy my 3 hours and 20 minutes to myself Monday through Thursday!
Yay for Zack! & Yay for Mom!

I am so jealous that 1-you get that kind of quiet time and 2-that he begs to go to school! Eli would be freaking out!
Where did I go wrong?
So cute, you are a GREAT mommy! xo
Thats awesome! Yay for Zack and you!!! ;)
I still can't believe that he is old enough to go to school. Yep, your baby is growing up! What are you doing with all of your free time?....picking your nose?
oh wow fun is he going to watson?I just moved my kids out of watson oh and when is my next hair appt...
How awesome is that!" Sadie would love to go 4 days a week, we sure love those Tuesdays and Thursdays though. I'm glad Zack is loving it!
Those are cute pictures. You need to tell him to get used to the photo shoots, because you are going to take pictures like that clear up until he goes to college.:)
That is cool that you get a little free time. I can't imagine what that would be like. :)
I'll call you today and we'll set something up!! Welcome back!!!
OK - I am waiting for Child Find to call for speach for Jarrett. The lady said something like he may just go for speech, but could stay for the whole pre-k if there were other things he needed to work on... hmmmm...
P.S. We just got home from looking at houses in your area!! we are thinking maybe not so close to the pig farm though - yikes - Keep fingers crossed - we may just get that BBQ soon after all....
