A few weeks back I realized my old digital camera still had the SD card in it, which had pictures from when Brenden was in Kindergarten. It was so fun to download those and see them again! I can't believe how big and grown he is now. :o(
I decided to post these pictures of Brenden. In Kindergarten, at the end of the year, he got a pass to Gameworks. I don't think that place is open anymore, and if it is, I know they took the rock wall out. Anyhow, he was so excited to go. When we got there he saw the rock wall and that was all he wanted to do. He didn't care about any of the games, he wanted to climb the massive rock wall. This wall was 75 feet tall! I thought he would chicken out, but he didn't. In fact, I had to go up the escalator to the second story just to see him, and I had to use my super-zoom feature on my camera. People on the second floor were in a group in amazement that such a little critter was climbing so high on the wall.
(I know it isn't that far up, but seriously, I have a major heights issue)
Up...
He did so great. I encouraged him from the second floor at this point. He would get frustrated when his arms got tired, but he'd take a breather and then keep going.
More up...
I expected him to be done any second...
But he kept going!
Finally his little 5-year-old arms just couldn't take any more. He hung there for a few moments and tried a few times to start up again, but he had done the very best he could!
So he enjoyed his ride down!

So cute and so little! I have ALWAYS wanted to do this rock wall!
Awesome! I went rock climbing once up a mini hill in Lake Perris. Yeah, it was fun, but only a one time thing for me. The heights fear was hard! How awesome Brendan was so great at it!!
Wow! That is awesome!! Ilove seeing pic's of my kids little and all the memories come flooding back. Than I miss them that little. :(
If only the would stay that little.
He is so brave...love that little spider monkey!
That is so cute that he was so young and so determined. That is something to be proud of!
