Trunk or Treat 2011

So as some of you read in my previous blog, the evening we went to Springs Preserve we had an epiphany of sorts. Zackary saw the "zombie" he wanted to dress up as, and it was Frankenstein! It just so happened that I had gone through a bag of clothes that used to belong to Brenden when he was like 8. Back then double-breasted suits were still okay. Ha ha... Anyhow, I found one that was green! PERFECT! The only thing I was missing was the bolts for his head, but I figured those didn't matter too much...
My original plan was to make his neck and arms and hands green as well, but then I worried about what it would do to the suit. I don't know why... I'm not sure I want him wearing it... LOL And even though Frankenstein is NOT known for blood, Zack begged for some blood and gore, and I allowed him one bloody area.

Zack and our neighbor Hugo. They are inseperable these days. Hugo wasn't so thrilled that I made him take off his Darth Vader mask to get the picture.
Brenden wore his fatigues, and Trever was a monkey again.

This monkey loves suckers, so you can just keep those bananas away!
Oh the tired, stuffed little monkey...
Rachael's son Oliver was a monkey as well, so she took some pictures of each of them in the tree...
Two little monkeys swinging from a tree... thank goodness there was no Mr. Alligator to tease!
This is Rachael's daughter Alexis. I'm posting a picture because we had some makeup fun before the Trunk or Treat. She was a fabulous model. She can keep her eyes more still than a lot of the people who come through my work! LOL We even put some fun blue lashes on!
She was the female version of the Mad Hatter. Cute, eh?
